Want to know about the version of the windows that you use?
You can check it out by right clicking on computer icon and
choose properties!
But instead you can always see it in lower right corner of
your desktop. Lets now perceive a quick trick on doing this in your windows
platform!
Steps to show windows version on Desktop
2) Type Regedit and press Enter.
3) If it is asking permissions then allow them .(for WINDOWS
7 and WINDOWS 8)
4) In Registry editor, on the left pane navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel as
5) Then select “Desktop” in left pane and search for
“PaintDesktopVersion” in right pane and double-click it.
6) A dialog will pop-up, modify the “Value Data” field from
0 to 1 as shown
8) If it is not
displaying you can restart the Windows.
9) If you wish to remove the watermark, just change the
“Value Data” field back to 0.
